Our concept is to deliver one to one coaching on board performance racing boats. In particular the Mini Transat 650. The objective being to maximise the time spent on the water on board fast, fun and technically challenging sailing boats. Here there is no floating caravans!

The Offshore Sailing Academy
Created just after the 2015 Mini Transat by Francois and Tom, Offshore Sailing allows sailors to discover the thrills of the Mini 650 and to accelerate their personal progression. Their racing experience combined with their years of teaching on the water allow them to provide a complete training package ideally adapted to each individual trainee that comes through the door. They also offer many different services associated with this industry to help you with your campaign.
Tom Dolan
Tom has first came to France in 2010 when he completed a BPJEPS Voile, of Franch National Training Diploma. His first Race on 650 was in 2012 and since then he has acquired almost 20,000 miles of singlehanded racing. As well as training he has also worked as a “preparateur” on the Figaro circuit and plans to race this season

François Jambou
Francois has been teaching sailing since the age of 15, he is also an FFV (French Sailing Federation) qualified instructor trainer. He has always been passionate about racing and has been racing in the Mini 650 Circuit since 2012. In his free time he is an avid Windsurfer, particularly big wave surfing.
